Transmission infrastructure for hydrogen, Wednesday 13th October 2021
Antony Green is part of the impressive line up for the Transmission infrastructure for hydrogen session at the Energy Networks Innovation Conference and networking event.
Antony joins a panel of leading experts discussing a vision of the infrastructure for net zero and exploring topics including:
- Comparing the approaches of the UK and European hydrogen transmission infrastructure plans
- Barriers and next steps for moving toward 100% hydrogen networks
- Will hydrogen become an export business within Europe? Will we see hydrogen transmission networks joining up the UK to the continent?
- What impact will a 100% hydrogen system have on the energy system as a whole?
As Hydrogen Director, Tony has responsibility for leading the thinking for gas transmission to play its role in the pathway to net zero through decarbonising the network either through hydrogen blends or even a full transition to hydrogen.
Prior to this role Tony was Head of Engineering and Asset Management for Gas Transmission. A Civil Engineer by degree Tony has worked in the utilities and infrastructure sectors for over 30 years. He began his career at Severn Trent before moving to Advantica and then DNV GL in a variety of business and sector leadership roles providing a broad range of advisory services and asset management solutions.
