Gas Goes Green 2.0: the blending timeline, 12 October
Bill will be sharing an update on the next phase of the Gas Goes Green project. Bringing together all five of Britain’s gas network operators, Gas Goes Green aims to replace the carbon-emitting natural gas that 85% of the UK's homes rely on with a combination of hydrogen and biomethane, in partnership with an increased use of electricity.
Bill Goode is a Senior Development Lead in National Grid. Within the Gas Market Development team, he is currently leading a joint Gas Market Plan/Gas Goes Green project looking at producing a pathway showing when market framework change will be required to facilitate hydrogen blending with natural gas.
With 20 years’ experience in the Gas industry, Bill has undertaken a range of roles from project managing significant system changes to supporting the development and implementation of European network codes.
