How do you extract maximum value from your LV monitoring data and smart metering data?
Colin will be leading a roundtable discussion on 13 October, talking about the various methodologies, use cases and challenges around utilising LV monitoring data, smart metering data and other supporting data sets. He will be covering the various benefits that can be extracted, how this can impact the DNO journey towards net zero and how the industry can ensure value for money for the consumer.
Until recently Colin was the Managing Director of SSE Networks, a member of the SSE Executive Committee responsible for the Electrical Networks in the north and of Scotland and south-central England and their associated capital investment programmes. Earlier in Colin’s 11 years with SSE he had responsibility for leading the Renewables development capital investment programme and also led the establishment of a group wide Large Capital Project Governance Framework to oversee the investment delivery of the group capital plan.
Prior to joining SSE Colin worked in the Pharmaceutical/ Fine Chemical Industry for 18 years with DSM, Hoffmann La Roche and ICI, holding a number of senior roles in Operations, Business Development and Capital Projects. During this part of his career he worked in both Europe and Asia for extended periods of time.
Starting his career in the Steel Industry Colin is a Mechanical Engineer by background.
