Dr Janet Foggie has had a varied career in academia, in psychiatric hospital chaplaincy, parish ministry and most recently in environmental community building at the University of Stirling. She brings to Community Energy Scotland her ethical commitment to putting people first in our transition to Net Zero. She has worked with alleviation of inner city multiple deprivations; including mental health, wellbeing, early life issues, bereavement care and suicide prevention. She has been involved in conflict mediation, community gardening, community building. She is delighted to be leading the charity that is the voice of Scotland's Community Energy Sector, which exists to build community renewable energy, improve inclusion, reduce fuel poverty, decarbonise and reach net zero fairly.
