Enhance network performance: predict faults, prevent interruptions, and protect networks
Jonathan will be speaking in the Tech Bites special session on 12 October at ENIC. He will be sharing how Kelvatek’s AI-enabled LV and HV monitoring solutions can help network operators enact a predictive fault management strategy that minimises the number and duration of customer interruptions.
Jonathan leads Kelvatek’s Future Networks Programme, delivering innovative solutions to allow DNOs to make better use of their electricity networks. By helping to steer policy, training and logistics, he works with DNO’s to enable business-as-usual deployments. Jonathan joined Kelvatek in 1999, and has held key roles in engineering, product management and leadership positions in Low Voltage auto-reclosing, fault location technology, network management and technology innovation projects. Responsible for Kelvatek’s contribution to the UK’s largest LV automation scheme, Electricity North West’s Smart Street, Jonathan was instrumental in the development of Kelvatek’s LV network automation devices, WEEZAP and LYNX. Currently, Jonathan is working with DNO’s to understand the value from an ED2 deployment of Kelvatek latest innovation for distribution networks – LineSIGHT.
