Michael has worked in the Gas industry for over twenty five years, starting in the emergency contact centre in Newcastle Upon Tyne with Transco, before progressing to work in the despatch section as a Team Leader and subsequently the Operational Quality Controller, before moving into project work.
Michael transitioned in to project work firstly bridging the gap between the operational and IT sides of the business and then moving firmly into IT by becoming the Integration Manager, responsible for all internal and external interfaces being built, tested and deployed during the SAP migration.
Following the successful delivery of the SAP project, Michael moved into the Innovation team, taking the lead on all project implementations as well as working to redefine the overall team processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and enable the team to deliver more value added innovation projects.
