Open Networks: developing the future grid, Friday 15 October 2021
Steve Atkins is part of the impressive line up for the Open Networks: developing the future grid session at the Energy Networks Innovation Conference and networking event.
Steve will be joining the leads of each area to discuss the key achievements from the past year and priorities for 2022 including:
- Data and output
- Whole energy system transformation
- Flexibility and commercial evolution
- Delivering Distribution System Operation (DSO)
- Improving distribution connections for customers
Steve spent 17 years in the finance industry working in commercial strategy before leaving to set up his own renewables business. He joined SSEN in 2015 to look after Major Commercial Connections before joining the Future Networks team to manage the development of DSO capabilities and the relationship with the ENA’s Open Networks. Steve is on the Open Networks Steering Group and leads the WS3 workstream.
